It's quite disappointing to make a joke about how so much depends upon a red wheel barrow and to have people give you a blank stare in return.

Regardless, our new red wheel barrow was critical in getting all the dirt that we had stored around the side of the house into the backyard, where we used it to fill the area behind the retaining wall. With any luck, the grass seed we planted in the top 1/8th inch of this dirt will sprout in a week or two, turning this plot of dirt that we call a backyard into a place you might actually want to hang out in once in a while.

Now if we could only get some white chickens....
